Tropical Storm Fay, Florida Department of Transportation
We oversaw emergency bridge repair, including seawall and slope restoration at SR-528 over the Banana River due to Tropical Storm Fay. Our work also included emergency repair of three bascule bridges, 100 feet of seawall, and submarine cable damaged and/or undermined at SR-410 over the Barge Canal.
Making Washout Repairs
CRS provided complete construction management and oversight. Due to hurricane and storm damage, we permanently improved existing road deficiencies, erosion, and stormwater management. This project added aesthetically pleasing features critical to this scenic and historic coastal highway.

The project scope includes transportation, building, electrical, and transit improvements on a task work-order basis over five years. Current projects include a major power conversion and bus stop shelter installations countywide.

CFX: SR-429 Corridor Widening Project
You may know it as State Road 429 or the Daniel Webster Western Beltway. However, it will look much different when the Central Florida Expressway Authority finishes widening a portion from Tilden Road to the south of Florida’s Turnpike. They are adding a travel lane in each direction for 3.6 miles to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow. This means the expressway will have three travel lanes in each direction. In addition to the roadwork, they are putting up several sound walls.
